Simi has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, specialising in capital structuring, business valuations, financial modelling, due diligence, fundraising, and mergers and acquisitions.
Before taking on his current role, Simi led the Mergers and Acquisitions division at a regional Big Four firm and previously served as a Corporate Finance Partner at Grant Thornton in the United Arab Emirates, where he was instrumental in establishing the firm’s presence in Abu Dhabi.
Simi has advised on a wide range of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, as well as capital raising initiatives for private equity and corporate clients. Known for his strong investor engagement, he has developed and maintained a network of more than 600 investors across the UK and GCC, including private equity firms, sovereign wealth funds, venture capital firms, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and corporates.
Qualifications
- Corporate Finance Qualified (CF) and Chartered Accountant (ACA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales
- Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester, UK
