As Head of Development and Co-founder of the European Commission–funded last-mile delivery platform DeliNet, she led the design and deployment of an on-demand delivery solution that earned a national Supply Chain Award for excellence in last-mile operations.
Her leadership in the UAE ports sector as Logistics Technology Manager further underscores her commitment to innovation. There, she spearheaded major digital transformation initiatives, introducing automation, IoT-enabled operational improvements, drone delivery pilots, and AI-driven optimization projects, while managing cross-functional teams and partnerships with high-growth startups.
Sofia has also contributed to advancing logistics practices through active participation in European research and international programs. Earlier in her career, she held key roles in a leading petrochemical organization, focusing on supply chain strategy, sustainability, and performance analytics.
