Imad is a leader in Assurance and Tax. He also led several major advisory assignments in business consulting and contributed to the development of the firm since he joined.
He has over 16 years of experience serving clients in the international business community - from medium to large, privately held and listed multinational companies, based in the USA, Canada, UAE, Jordan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - assisting them across different service lines within Assurance and Business Consulting, including IFRS conversions, process improvements, financial management, data analysis; and pre/post implementation testing for SAP.
His experience covers a wide range of industries including Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Hospitality, Energy, Manufacturing and Pharmaceuticals.
Imad was a key attribute towards the firm’s award nomination and win of the Best in Corporate Finance - Saudi Arabia & Recognised Leader in Risk Management Services - Saudi Arabia at the prestigious AI M&A awards.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Imad was a Managing Director at SineTheta, providing consulting solutions in commodity trade advisory. Prior to that he was the Group Regional Director of Finance & Administration at AmCan International Group headquartered in Canada with regional offices in USA, Canada and GCC. Imad has also worked with EY in Jordan and Deloitte in the UAE. At EY he was selected to be part of the European Commission Audit team in Belgium.
